If you’re reading this, you’ve probably seen the announcement that I’ve been named Chief Product Officer for Mediagraph. I’m thrilled to be working with this product and this team. We’ve been working on the redesign for months, and we’re really pleased with our progress. There’s still a lot of coding to do over the next couple of months, but at least internally, we can see what the new system will be able to offer.
While waiting for the new software to deliver, I want to use this time to provide context around our product strategy. I’ll be posting several different types of information. Some posts will address seismic changes to communication, like the way visual media is used in the mobile era or the impact of cloud services on media management. Some posts will be more down-to-earth and practical, like understanding metadata or tips for better rights management.
Much of the content I’ll be posting will be adapted from The DAM Book 3.0, which outlines an approach to media management and deployment in a connected world. We’re making the book available free to all Mediagraph customers so that they will be able to get a better understanding of our product vision and roadmap.
